Mudhouse Residency

The Mudhouse is an artist residency located in the village of Agios Ioannis on the Island of Crete, Greece. The Mudhouse Residency aims to provide artists inspiration derived from an engagement with the stunning natural beauty of its environment, solitude to foster creative growth, an artistic community to enrich professional practices, and an immersive cultural experience within a profoundly rich historical context. We will be holding 3 summer residency sessions in 2026 We are accepting 24 Artists for each session. Applicants will be accepted on a rolling basis beginning December 1. Applications will be accepted until April 1 or until program spots are full. The General Application allows the artist to choose from three residency fee tiers.
